SpellVPN Tool is a paid, ad-free configuration client for iOS and macOS. It supplies no server nodes, preset source catalog, or node-service subscription. Import your own configuration, nodes, or subscription URL that you are authorized to use. The client can establish a VPN connection using the imported configuration; it is not an offline-only file viewer.
SpellVPN Ultra is the iOS edition with advertising and optional App Store auto-renewing subscriptions. A valid subscription removes ads and gives access to Curated Sources and Exclusive Lines supplied through the service. Ultra also supports users' own imports. These service-provided configurations are an actual subscription benefit, not just ad removal.

SpellVPN Tool contacts the subscription, DNS, and server endpoints in your imported configurations. SpellVPN Ultra also requests Curated Sources and Exclusive Lines from apixx.spellv.com when using those features, and may then contact the returned subscription and node endpoints. Remote services receive the network information needed to handle these requests, such as IP address and HTTP request metadata. VPN traffic is processed by the servers selected in the active configuration. This is separate from App Store purchase processing and Ultra advertising.
In SpellVPN Ultra, open Settings → Subscription → Ultra Subscription to view the available plans, purchase, or restore a purchase. With an active entitlement, use Curated Sources or Exclusive Lines in the normal interface. My Imports remains separate from service-provided content. If a purchase or source cannot be loaded, contact support with the app version and error text; do not send passwords or complete subscription URLs.
Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly auto-renewing plans are handled by Apple. The App Store purchase sheet shows the actual price, period, and renewal terms. You can restore eligible purchases in the app and manage subscriptions in your Apple account. Source contents and connectivity can change; access is not a promise of permanent nodes, unrestricted traffic, or a particular region's availability.

SpellVPN stores VPN configurations, saved subscription URLs, proxy links, nodes, policy groups, routing rules, DNS settings, route mode, virtual adapter settings, traffic counters, and local logs that you import or create. This data is used to start VPN sessions, switch nodes, show connection status, import or export configurations, and diagnose connection issues.
If you choose to use iCloud Drive backup or restore, full app data backups are saved into your own iCloud Drive SpellVPN/Backups folder. Backups do not include the installed iOS VPN permission profile or logs unless you separately export them. We do not have access to your iCloud Drive content.
SpellVPN requests camera access only to scan QR codes for importing VPN configurations or subscription links. When you import a QR code from Photos, the app processes the image you select in order to detect QR content.

SpellVPN Tool for Mac imports users' own configurations and uses a native macOS Packet Tunnel for connections. It has no advertising, App Store subscriptions, or built-in node service. Ultra's subscription-based Curated Sources and Exclusive Lines are features of the separate iOS Ultra edition.
SpellVPN Ultra integrates Yandex Mobile Ads and Google AdMob. The free edition may show banner, native or in-feed, interstitial, and app-open ads. These third-party advertising SDKs may process data to load, show, measure, limit, personalize, and protect ads.
Advertising SDKs may process IP address and approximate location inferred from IP address; device and app information such as device model, operating system version, language, screen size, app version, and network connection; advertising identifiers such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers where permitted; app- or developer-scoped device identifiers; ad request and response data; ads shown, impressions, clicks, close events, video views, and other ad interactions; app launch and product interaction events related to ad delivery; performance information such as launch time, hang rate, energy usage, and ad load timing; and diagnostic information such as SDK errors, crash logs, and other technical logs.
This data may be used for ad delivery, contextual or personalized ads where permitted, frequency capping, ad measurement, attribution, reporting, fraud prevention, security, debugging, SDK performance improvement, compliance, and ad revenue reporting. Advertising partners may process this data under their own privacy policies, including Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and Yandex Privacy Policy at https://yandex.com/legal/confidential/.
Ultra subscriptions are handled by Apple's App Store and StoreKit. SpellVPN may receive product identifiers, transaction status, purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, refund, restoration, and entitlement status needed to unlock paid features. We do not receive your payment card number, billing address, or Apple ID password.
SpellVPN Ultra requests App Tracking Transparency permission before advertising SDK initialization in the ad-supported build. Where required by law or platform rules, SpellVPN Ultra may also ask for consent before requesting personalized ads or accessing Apple's advertising identifier. You can limit ad tracking through iOS privacy settings. If you decline tracking or personalized ads, the free edition may still show non-personalized or contextual ads, and advertising SDKs may still process limited data needed for ad delivery, security, fraud prevention, measurement, and compliance.
SpellVPN Tool is a paid-download edition. It does not show ads and does not initialize Yandex Mobile Ads or Google AdMob for ad serving.
The app may generate local connection logs, validation messages, diagnostic logs, and tunnel snapshots to help troubleshoot issues. Logs stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them. Clearing local data removes local configs, nodes, subscriptions, rules, DNS settings, traffic stats, logs, tunnel snapshots, and the installed system VPN configuration; iCloud Drive backup files remain unless you delete them.
SpellVPN is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If a future version changes advertising partners, adds new advertising SDKs, changes advertising data types, changes subscription or purchase features, or adds accounts, developer-operated cloud sync, analytics, crash reporting, or other data collection, this policy and the App Store privacy labels will be updated.
