Data We Collect
The current version of easyTallys does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, a developer-operated account system, a developer finance-data server, StoreKit products, memberships, or a paywall. We do not sell user data or share it for advertising.
Financial Data You Enter
easyTallys stores the ledgers, accounts, categories, tags, merchants, projects, members, collaborator records and contact details you add, invitation status, CloudKit sharing metadata, transactions, budgets, recurring templates, subscriptions, credit-card details, installment records, exchange rates, notes, receipt images, OCR results, and related settings you create in the app.
Local Storage, App Group, and iCloud
Your finance data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, the app syncs data through your private iCloud account using CloudKit. Widget, Apple Watch, and the main app can share local data and preferences through an App Group configured for your app.
CloudKit Sharing and Remote Notifications
If you use shared ledgers, Apple system CloudKit Sharing may process invitation links, participant display names, roles, contact details you add, invite state, and shared ledger snapshots through your iCloud account. The app can register CloudKit remote-change notifications so Apple systems can wake the app to safely sync shared changes; these notifications do not send your finance data to a developer-operated server.
OCR and Files
Receipt or bill OCR uses Apple's on-device Vision framework for images you choose. File access is used only when you import, export, back up, restore, or select receipt and bill files.
Import, Export, and Deletion
The app can import or export JSON, CSV, Excel, PDF, ZIP, OFX, and QIF data when you choose those actions. Bank CSV import can recognize common debit, credit, account, status, currency, transaction number, and description headers. You can clear local data or clear iCloud sync data from the app.
Biometric Lock
easyTallys can use Face ID, Touch ID, or device authentication to lock the app. Biometric authentication is handled by iOS, iPadOS, or macOS; the app does not receive your biometric data.
Cold Wallet Vault
Cold Wallet Vault records can include wallet addresses, seed phrases, private keys, Keystore JSON, hardware wallet backup notes, contract addresses, network labels, tags, and local reminders that you enter. Sensitive wallet secrets are stored in the local Keychain with this-device-only protection. They are not synced through iCloud or CloudKit Sharing, are not written into shared ledgers, and are not included in JSON, ZIP, CSV, Excel, PDF, or report exports. The app cannot recover a secret after you delete it or lose the device-only Keychain item.
Notifications
The app may use local notifications for subscription reminders, recurring entries, budgets, deposit maturity, credit-card repayment, and installment reminders when you grant notification permission.
Children's Privacy
easyTallys is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If a future version adds accounts, developer-operated cloud sync, analytics, crash reporting, payments, advertising, or other data collection, this policy and the App Store privacy labels will be updated.
